A Bug Flew Up My Nose

Bear with me. I am not Cindy Beall (thanks for upping the ante), or Mandy Thompson (the whiz at amateur film-crafting) or Annie Downs (the funniest girl I know…”I’m Dyin’ Here!).

But I did try my first EVER video blog. My last day of vacation and my first video blog.

Watch for it…a bug really did fly up my nose on my first video blog.

Moss Landing from Sarah Markley on Vimeo.

Don’t worry. There won’t be many more of these. I am really not good at it. I am much better with a keyboard in front of me.

As you are watching this, I will be leaving the coast and driving down the middle of California. Through Salinas (can I get a shout-out for John Steinbeck), then Paso Robles (where I had the best dinner ever with my great friend Lisa), down through San Luis Obispo, Santa Barbara and then on to the sprawling city we call home.

Oh for a few minutes I was able to live vicariously through your video and enjoy the sound and sight of the beach!

Ah……I live on an island and never see the water. (yes, I feel landlocked in Japan!)

    Cute hair too!

    Have a safe trip home.

And oh, the sound of your laughter can not be conveyed through your writing——despite your gift of words. I really enjoyed the sound of your laugh when that gnat flew up your nose!

  2. Cassie says:

  3. Becoming Me says:

Very cute. I have to say, I was honestly freaked out (I am not kidding you) that your recorded voice sounds nearly identical to mine. My daughter ran over to the computer because she thought I was playing home videos with me talking.

  4. Shelley says:

That was AWESOME! You’re so cute! I loved that, I loved putting a voice with the face and the words.

The beach looks beautiful. Have a safe trip home!

I loved this!! It is one thing to read a blog and hear a persons’ heart, but totally another to hear their voice. So fun….dont let that be your last video even if a bug DID fly up your nose.

My little Will was sitting next to me as I was watching your video and is now asking to go to the beach. Too bad we’re smack dab in the middle of the country nowhere near any beach ;-) Very cute video. Loved it!
