Moving Toward the 4s

I started at 156 pounds several weeks ago.

And the scale on the floor of my bathroom is moving ever so slowly down toward my goal of 141. 15 pounds total. Not because I am obese. But because I’ve gained this amount of weight over the past year because of poor eating habits and a lack of discipline. And because my jeans weren’t fitting.

If you are new to my journey, click here to watch my first confession.

I am trying to get this part of my life under control. And as it turns out, I am learning a lot about myself in the process.

Another simple broadcast in my quest to bring myself under control.

    Totally Love you!!

Doing the WW thing now and it is working for me. 40 pounds I have lost since April. I could see where burnout could happen though. At least they teach you a lfe style. And as you said you can pick a plan core or flex.

I still need to lose 20 but you are so going to kick my butt and beat me with only needing to lose a total of 15.

    Keep it up!!!!

    Congrats to you!

You know, if WW works for you…why not let it work again. I think you’ve made a great choice. So instead of “killing” yourself with trying to alter your workouts, you can do the WW program with both hands tied behind your back because you know how to do it! :)

Yay! I am with ya on resisting WW. I felt the same way both times I went on it after I was pregnant with each of the girls, since I had gone on it before ever getting pregnant, trying to lose 10 or 15 pounds without much success.

But after weight-loss success with both girls and after even better success with accountability to a friend (for you that would probably be your blog) with journaling my points, etc, I think it’s definitely the diet plan for me.

    Yay! .8 pounds! Congratulations!!

I know EXACTLY what you’re feeling with WW. I’m a lifetime member (haven’t been at my goal for over 8 years maybe) and started back two summers ago. Something is holding me back. I KNOW it works! My husband is asking me to do the program with him and I’m still resistant.

I haven’t commented on the weight blogs because I’m still stuck right here at the “I need to” stage, but I’ve gotta get to the “I want to” stage. I need prayer!!!!

    Good for you sara!!

I think I will look into WW online.

Have any advice on starting it for the first time?

Almost to the 4′s!!! That is AWESOME!

WW has been my go-to diet also. I works. Plain and Simple. I’m glad you returned, and that it’s working for you.

Girl, I have learned SO much about myself in this process. I’m still learning. I think that may be why I’m not losing it too efficiently. God wants me right where I am. I lost again this week so I am happy. 3 weeks of loss after a 4-5 week plateau. Clothes are starting to feel different and people are noticing. Praise the Lord! I’ve been counting points all along, although I’m not officially on the program. Hope it goes well for you!

YEAH! I know, I know I am way behind and trying to catch up. Life just keeps happening….

I am glad for your weight loss – WHOO HOO. I remember you had done WW before and was wondering why you were not doing it this time. I have found WW to be the most successful plan (when I follow it like I should) for me.

Thanks for sharing your journey with us.
