So this week has been all about change. For me at least. And for a few others that I know.
I changed the way I’ve been eating (more on that on Monday). I’ve changed what beverages I am consuming (again, more on that on Monday). And I have changed the way I have been working out.
For a long time, I had considered the hour-per-day threshhold of cardio as necessary for weight loss or maintenance. I’m not so sure anymore. Because I HAD been doing that much cardio every day.
And
nothing
was
happening.
I think the key was that I was being lazy in my cardio: jogging slowly or doing the elliptical trainer at a moderate level.
So this is ONE thing I’m learning about my own body.
And, it just might be working.

(On Monday, watch for two more changes I’ve made that are making a difference!)

You ROOOOOOOCK!!!
And so does your lip gloss.
Thanks for the tip. I’ll try it. Currently I am reading a book by a christian author called “The Weigh Down Diet.” It is helping me a lot on the way I view food. I am with you on this journey of health and weight loss. Blessings.
Miss Sarah I made one of my goals…I lost my 40 pounds this week. My 40th birthday is tomorrow and I was hoping I could do it and I did.
I am so glad that you are seeing success! I can’t wait to hear the rest on Monday! Have a great weekend.
You are adorable.
Video lisp and all
That is great sarah! how long do you work out now that you are doing intervals? i have been doing them on my elliptical but haven’t done them much when i have been running outside. how many days are ou doing intervals? curious readers (me) want to know.
It depends, kristen….
sometime I do a loop (like a track) and I run hard on 1/2 and jog on 1/2.
on a treadmill in quarter mile segments, I’ll run hard for .15 and then jog for .10…
or i’ve been taking classes at the gym that are set up in interval styles. =)
