I Should Have Been an Inventor, or At Least Have Worn Ear Plugs

My hair look a little wild on the side. On the one side, on the left. Actually my right, but your left.

Not to mention that it looks like a bookcase is growing out of my head.

Give me a break – I’ve been doing these videos on Sunday mornings (and we all know how hectic Sunday mornings are).

And, I’m proud of myself:

I figured out a way to stuff my video camera in a Kleenex box to prop it. Yes, I know. I should have been an inventor.

And listen for Hope’s elite piano pounding skills in the background.

Three minutes 16 seconds of update. Can you handle it?

I love the little *sigh* during the piano playing. We have a bassoon at our house…need I say more?…at least it’s not drums!

Thanks again for your faithfulness to post. You are still inspiring me.

My suggestion for vacation? – be “good” as much as you can, but allow for some vacation food too. It wouldn’t be vacation unless you could escape the day to day life.

I’m officially down 17 lbs since the beginning of June. The walking hasn’t happened in the last week or so, but I know I have to get back at it. My excuse is that I’ve felt under the weather since coming back from the Joyce Meyer women’s conference LAST weekend. I know…get over myself, huh!?!?! :)

    Have a great day!

Your struggle with food/self-image is my struggle.

It is the thorn in my side.

I do that once a week assessment thing. But I pay for it- the ole Weight Watchers. :)

I LOVE hearing Hopey play the piano in the background.

T or F- this video was made in “my room”?

I’m a long time troller, first time commenter. I found your site through a friend at my church in Illinois. I don’t even know if you know her, but I’m glad she directed me here. Your writing is wonderful!

I recently started a get healthy/serve the Lord with my body/weight loss journey after having my first daughter. I remember reading a 3 part posting about your initial weight loss that was really inspirational (whilst large and pregnant), but now I cannot find it. Do you know when you posted it so I could search your archives?

    Thanks so much for everything!

    Food is also my struggle.
It’s so hard NOT to pick up the salsa and chips.

Here in San Diego, everyone is image conscious and I struggle with that alot, I am a businesswoman too and I weigh over … lbs, it doesn’t help matters.

    I love these videos

If it makes you feel any better, I had chips and salsa this week, too. Plus, I had to eat at two banquet dinners where I had no control over what was served. Yowsa. Hang in there friend. The blog accountability thing (or whatever you want to call it) does make for an interesting journey. I second that!

Oh yeah, for some reason your blog is not updating on my bloglines?? Did you change something and I missed it?
