I’ve Been Waiting…

If you have been reading me for awhile, you know that I’ve talked about my marriage a little in the past.

You might know that something big, scary and difficult happened about 5 1/2 years ago between my husband and I.  I’m a different person today than I was before that time.

And I’m finally ready to share my story. I haven’t been hiding it, but I’ve been waiting.

Patiently.

Eagerly.

Hopefully.

And I’ve known that the time would be right someday and that it would be amazing and wonderful when that time came.

I’m ready.

Meet me back here on Monday.  I’ll be taking you on a journey that will last all week.  And I don’t think you’ll be disappointed.

Are you ready?

Sarah, I am freaking out because in the shower today I was thinking about my own scary time when I almost lost my marriage, about three years ago, and about all your references to it in your blog over the year or so I have been reading. I had on my “to do” list to email you this weekend to see if you would share this soon. One thing that I find sad is so many Christian women who hide the scary stuff that often involves our own sin. The reason I so willingly talk about my wandering and bad choices is that it always points back to my earthly husband and his amazing forgiveness and love and my Savior who loves me even more and who has removed it all as far as the east s from the west. Thank you for sharing. I know it will bless my heart and many others who may not be able to tell their stories out loud. Love you!

. . . east “is” from the west. The need to self edit is a sickness. ;)

It is so amazing how the testimony of a believer points us to the Lord, and that’s exactly what the story of your marriage will do! Praise God that he restores, and uses the story to impact others. Thank-you for you courage to be vulnerable that it might help others and Glorify the Lord.
