I’m going to take advantage of the long holiday weekend
with fireworks,
and movies,
and a few extra calories
to take a day off from any serious writing.
First thing Tuesday I’ll be back with a video of my first serious foray into Fear-Smashing. I did something that might seem anti-climactic for some, shocking for others, but believe me, it was one of the most difficult things I’ve ever done.
What did you do over the holiday weekend?

It was our single daughter’s birthday (she lives in NYC), so we did a web/cam birthday party (pizza, seeing her apt., her two precious doggies, etc.); it was phenomenal!!! Then my hubby and I went to a parade; it was exceptional and then to a concert (love those patriotic songs!!); then we went to a church concert and ended going to the park to see the beautiful fireworks!!! (I love your pics); enjoy your special time!!!!
FIreworks (complete with “I’m going to be brave today” almost-four year old in ear protection with a blankie over his head, while my one year old smiled and giggled at the pretty lights), a cookout with some fellowship thrown-in, and swimming date today! I love holiday weekends!
Had a cookout with my family(two sons,my parents and puppy named Aesop.) Went to church on Sunday. It was a refreshing weekend! Love your site Sarah. Gods sweetest blessings to all!
Saturday we went to my parents (2 hours north of where we live) for a bbq. Yesterday we did nothing. Rested at home all day and then headed out to dinner at an Irish Pub, then headed over to walk a bit at a open air shopping & dining area, then feasted on frozen yogurt. Was perfect.
Your long weekend sounds perfect Sarah . . .along with the teaser for Tuesday. ! We were blessed to have our oldest home for a night. Love that! Blessings and joy for your day! deb
