Trusting and a Little TV Clip

When CBN contacted us several months ago because they’d heard about our story and wanted to do a short feature, of course we said YES.

But as the time got closer to film and there were talks about film crews and lights, I got pretty nervous.

There is nothing special about me to warrant this.

What if we get hate mail/ nasty phone calls, etc?

I have to trust that someone else will do this story justice.

It came down to simple TRUST for me.

But what I realized was that in the end, I wasn’t placing this story in someone else’s hands, but in God’s. I was trusting HIM with our words and feelings and desires. I was trusting HIM with our integrity. I was trusting HIM with all of this.

And I am so glad we did.

Thank you to Kristi Watts and her amazing crew for being so gentle with TV newbies like us and for treating our story with such respect and tact.

I married my affair. My first husband walked away in spite of knowing truth and godliness. I was helpless, and in my grief of that relationship I became tired of waiting for God to work.

Having said that, I love my husband. We’ve been married 11 years, and he’s helped me raise my 3 daughters who are all almost grown. But I still feel like I failed God. I wish my first husband had turned from his affair and had believed in restoration…but that was his choice to deny.

You have been gifted by God with Chad and your desire (even that from God) for healing. Trust me when I say your children are blessed.

  2. a beautiful testimony – so true and sincere and God glorified – well done, indeed.

  3. What a beautiful video! And how amazing that God has provided yet another venue for you to share your story and encourage others who are going through what you two experienced. He truly is able to use what Satan intended for death to bring life.
