So I had a grand idea the other day.
Actually my friend Mandie had a grand idea the other day and I merely expanded it.
For the month of April I’m going to be featuring different handmade artisans and crafters here on this blog. I KNOW! That’s not usually my thing.
But all of these artists have something in common. They are willing to donate a portion of their proceeds to Compassion for our Team San Diego goal. Some of them are very popular, some are just starting out. But each of them want to make a difference and believe that by using their talents, they can.
MoxieMandie will be donating 15% of ALL SHOP SALES for this entire month to Team Compassion. Her cloth clutches and small pieces are super affordable and way cute.
I talked with her on the phone on Sunday and I loved hearing her heart. She explained to me that this was a tangible way that she has decided that she can help financially. I love it.
So you can be a part too! Go visit her shop,do a bit of shopping and know that a portion of your purchase will go to help children in need.
What are some small tangible ways that others have helped you when you’ve needed it the most?

What a great idea! And the stuff in Mandie’s shop looks adorable!
I had a friend buy me a laptop when I was placed on bedrest, but had so much schoolwork today that I couldn’t fathom actually complying with the doctor’s orders. My friend is amazing =)
that is amazing!! =)
Such a fun idea!!
My favorite help that people give me is to babysit my kids so my husband and I can have a date night. When you have four, it’s expensive to pay for babysitting on top of dinner, a movie or whatever. We don’t get out much. There’s been a couple of times where friends have offered out of the blue to watch them…and it’s been so nice!!
i love that melissa!!
side note, so sad that you’ll be moving so far away!! =( but happy you will be near family.
Thanks, Sarah. Moving is always a bittersweet process, huh?
