Welcome to my new corner of the web!
I’ve always said that a blog should be like my home, a place where both me and my guests feel comfortable. Like we can drop our shoes at the door and flop on the sofa and sit for awhile.
I like it to be a place where we can journey together, safely, through hard things, through big things and through both known and unknown things. And a place where authenticity, grace and close-to-the-ground living reigns.
I hadn’t rebooted my design since before I shared my marriage story online almost 3 years ago and I thought it was time for a new look.
So nothing has changed. Not really. I’ve updated a few things, streamlined a few others and am still working on ways to make all of our experiences here more enjoyable.

- And side note, today is mine and Chad’s sixteenth anniversary. We’ve had our share of bumps along the road but we are still here. Happy anniversary, sweetheart!

Really love the look of this- the colours, the graphics, the fonts, the feel of the whole thing. My only bit of constructive criticism would be that I find the top bar (pale blue with white lettering) a bit hard to read. Could it maybe be given a bit more contrast? xx

I like it but the other one is my favorite I loved the drawing on the heading.
This one is nice but the bees bother me.. The blog design is nice and I like the simplicity of the look. Happy Anniversary…. have a wonderful life together. May your journey continue for years.

P.S. So I shared I’ve been trying o get tickets to Huntington Library forever…well, a couple days ago a friend called to give me two free tickets! Going next Wed and just blessed that God notices even the littlest of things.
