Sometimes letting my heart breathe in the quiet just consists of getting out of my normal spot. For me, sometimes that means the beach. This week, we went on a family outing that was just what we needed.
What have you done this weekend to give your heart room to breathe?

Play with my kids… build popsicle stick houses for their stuffed animals, build a seashell wind chime-ey thing… Today has been a day to breathe and rest for me too. I even made a seashell frame for this verse:
Exodus 16:29
New Living Translation (NLT)
29 They must realize that the Sabbath is the Lord’s gift to you…
So thankful for God teaching me how to really rest too. : )
i love that, melissa may!
This is the most impactful post for me so far in your series. I love outdoor spaces, and finding new places to meet with my Creator. It inspires me, and gives my heart room to breathe. Such an inspiring phrase. I know when I begin to feel anxious over my work and my training and my many hats, I need to get out in the wide open spaces, and give God room to reach me. He never lets me down. Thank you for sharing your heart in your blog, and for not giving up. Your thoughts inspire me daily, and I share them often with friends!
Be still…
Lisa
