I’ve gathered some place (and things) around the web that might help you in your quest this month to find rest and I wanted to put them out there now before the month began to run away from me.
- Emily Freeman’s Thirty-One Days series is called Hush: thoughts on becoming a curious listener. She says she wants to “practice listening and …write through the rhythm of learning.” Read all her posts here.
- I’m pinning on a board I created called Thirty-One Days of Rest. You’ll find a collection of music, blog posts, and photos that evoke rest and that are helping me think about it in a more organic way. Find it here.

- I pretty much have this album on repeat play through the fall: Thanksgiving by Windham Hill. I think you might like it.
- Omm Writer. It’s a free, handy little word processing tool for people who hate distractions when you write. Download it for PC, Mac or iPad here. Its full of blank space, soothing colors and soft music that can help clear the mind. Try it.
- This is by far my favorite make-at-home chai tea. David Rio’s Orca sugar-free. Find it here (it’s the purple one.)
- Please feel free to share, like and pin some of my other posts on rest in this series. You can find them all {so far} here.
- Your turn! Leave something in the comments today that you’ve found (whether you have a link or not) that might help us all with rest. Do you have a favorite album? playlist? Do you have a favorite place to go? Do you have a napping blanket (like I do) that just makes it all okay?

Oooo! Great roundup, Sarah. I will recommend this one:
