Gussy Sews Giveaway – Grateful

I haven’t been doing a 30 days of thankfulness but I’m altogether in awe of how God has been gracious to me this month.

Nothing special has happened, and what I mean by that is nothing out of the ordinary, but I am thankful. I’m thankful that both kids are well right now. No one is sick. I’m thankful that goalie-Naomi stopped a bunch of goals at her soccer tournament and by that, is feeling successful! I’m thankful that my oldest, after waiting to ride all day at a rodeo fundraiser, wasn’t hurt when her horse didn’t cooperate.

Thankfulness comes in a lot of shapes and sizes and with all of those everyday-situations that I mentioned, there was a lot of pain involved. My kids are well now, but 3 weeks of pneumonia and related things aren’t fun for anyone. Naomi stopped those goals but they lost the tournament. And Hope, even though she was safe, did not get to make her run because she was disqualified for going off course.

I guess in a lot of ways thankfulness is how we look at things, perhaps.

In honor of thankfulness, new and old friends and the season full of gratitude, I’m giving something else away today.

Apparently I’m all about the giveaways this month here at my site. I hope you are enjoying it (hint: I have one more planned that you won’t want to miss!). Just let me know if you want me to stop. ;)

Today, joyously, I get to give $50 in credit to Gussy Sews’ online shop!

I’ve had the privilege of knowing Maggie for a couple years now and surprise, now she lives in my state. What fun to have her nearby!

We all know that Gussy is famous for her adorable Gussy Ruffle but she has been branching out lately into chunky crocheted cowls.

I have a Pumpkin Spice one (pictured on top) and I love it.

I’m going to end this giveaway early this week because it’s Thanksgiving this week and I have a lot of yummy baking to do on Wednesday, I want to snuggle my kids, and to be honest, I don’t think you’ll need until Wednesday to enter. You will have from now until Tuesday night at 9pm Pacific to enter.

There will be a few ways to enter. Check the Rafflecopter widget at the bottom of this post to enter. Click through and it will tell you how.

So get to it. Enter. Share it. Tweet it.

{Follow Gussy on Twitter, Facebook and check out her shop.

I’ll share the winners on my own Facebook page here.}

    Today I am thankful for the sun. Mornings are so much easier to wake up to bright blue skies and the sun shining. I think I may have Seasonal Affective Disorder where I’m affected by the weather, so the sun is always helpful to get me going in the morning. It speaks of alive-ness and energy to me. Thanks for this.

    For forgiveness. For survival. For redemption For finally knowing in every fiber of my being that God really does love me.. For the wholeness of my family.. For new normals and new shores. For God making things beautiful out of us. For miracle babies. For God’s faithfulness in loving through pain. For knowing my mother is with Him this Thanksgiving. For families with no family joining together to be each other’s family. And for you, Sarah…for oh, how you have ministered to me this year without even knowing.
