Okay, okay. Blogging isn’t dying. Not at all. In fact, I think most of us have a blog.
But Twitter and Facebook might be taking the place of the daily musings of us who just want to fill each other in on dinner menus and ballet recitals. And there is nothing wrong with crock pot recipes and haircut updates, not at all. It’s just not why I blog.
At a recent blogging conference a speaker suggested to the group:
“You need to decide if your blog is a HOBBY or a BUSINESS.”
I choose neither.
I see my blog as a MISSION. I write to tell a story.
I don’t write to collect comments or posts. I write to write and I write because I have a message. And I love it that you read. So please keep reading. And If you have time (especially if you are new) here are some of my favorite posts.
I’m Going to Need Coffee Today (July 21, 2009)
Where is Your Faith (May 18, 2009)
I’m Sorry, 1998 Chad (February 25, 2009)
Yield in Love (December 28, 2008)
And here are some of my daily (okay, weekly) reads.
